CELEBRATE BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS:
"Party-with-a-Purpose"
Was held on Saturday, October 24, 2009
at THE VIEW
in the Morro Bay State Park Golf Course Clubhouse
 Guy Budd and the Gypsy Souls played their eclectic mix of blues, rock, funk, and jazz and we all had a terrific time. There was NO SET ENTRY FEE, and instead, attendees made a tax-deductible donation at the door for whatever.
Gourmet cuisine was provided by Creative Touch Catering, Jaffa Café, Splash Café & Artisan Bakery, and Upper Crust Trattoria; decadent desserts were from Sun-N-Buns Bakery, The Cakery, Colleen Ervin and the Truffle Garden; AJB Vineyards, Donatoni Winery, and Frolicking Frog Winery poured their wonderful wines; and to add to the fun, there were Raffles and a Silent Auction.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this annual event helps us celebrate survivors. If you didn't attend this year, make sure you put it on your calendar now and don't miss it next year!

Celebrating Breast Cancer Survivors
was held on Saturday, October 11, 2008
at the View in the Morro Bay State Park Golf Course Clubhouse
and was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!
We had a full house at this annual “Party with a Purpose” event, meaning there was no set entry fee, and instead, attendees made tax-deductible donations for whatever they could afford at the door.
Everyone ‘danced to their heart’s content’ to the bluesy rock & roll music of “Plan B”. They dined on gourmet cuisine from Ian McPhee’s Grill, Novo’s, Phoenix Fine Catering, Robin’s and Upper Crust Trattoria. Wines were from AJB Vineyards, Byron Vineyard, Saucelito Canyon Vineyard, Tolosa Winery and Wild Horse Winery and decadent desserts were from Splash Café, The Truffle Garden and Utopia Bakery. Coffee was provided by Top Dog of Morro Bay (see our Home Page for their November special to help Enhancement!) Raffles and a silent auction added to the fun! Audio Ecstasy, The Cliffs, The Anderson Inn, Hamilton Estate Jewelry, Soho Studios and many more businesses donated wonderful items that made the raffles and auction exciting. For those from out-of-town, Ascot Suites of Morro Bay offered discounted rates to any out-of-town attendees.

“CELEBRATE BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS:
A PARTY WITH A PURPOSE”
held on October 28, 2007 was a huge success!!!!!
This wonderful community event, the largest in San Luis County in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, included gourmet cuisine from 6 restaurants and caterers, wine from 4 wineries and desserts from 4 bakeries (see lists below.) Live music and entertainment by a belly-dancer troupe added to the atmosphere. Attendees visited booths from 9 local businesses and organizations that offer services to breast cancer survivors while sampling the different gourmet delights. Anyone wearing pink and all breast cancer survivors got free truffles at the door from the Truffle Garden! There was no set entry fee and donations for whatever people could afford were accepted at the door.
